Product description

This classic design semi structured rectangular bag is hand made in Florence from high quality soft Italian leather and features a quilted padded design. The main compartment is secured by a metal gold coloured twist lock clasp on the padded fold over flap. Inside, there are two main compartments, separated in the middle by a centre, zipped compartment, with a further zipped compartment in the rear linning of the bag, and a small vanity pocket to the front. The handles/shoulder strap are made from gold coloured metal chain with an interwoven leather stip to match the bag.This is one long chain and can be pulled through the holes to have two handles with a drop of 28cm, or a longer strap with a drop of 52cm.

The approximate dimensions are width 27cm, Height 18cm and depth 8cm. 

Due to the bags being handmade, you will find variations in colour, softness, and the grain of the leather, as they are prepared using traditional Florentine techniques. These variations are characteristics of traditional Italian manufacturing, and are a renowned feature of authentic real leather. 

Most bags will come with a stamp and/or label saying Vera Pelle or Borse in Pelle, translated, this means Real or Genuine Leather, and Leather Bag or Handbag.

Some bags may come with a faint smell that is not the leather, this will be either due to the tanning of the leather, or glue, for bags that are glued and stitched, this is normal and will wear off quickly.
